You already kow some of the bands joining our anniversary party for a while now. Today, the next one is officially confirmed, and it's a real US metal icon bringing not just its latest hits but a huge number of genre classics, too, to BANG YOUR HEAD!!! 2020. RIOT V will come to Balingen!
Some bad and some good news: The Grailknights won't be able to conquer the evil at our Bang Your Head!!! 2019 Warm-Up Show tonight. Presumably, thieir arch enemy Dr. Skull succesfully prevented the metal superheroes' show by infecting their drummer with an insidious flu.
However, we could find a great substitute: Sons Of Sounds will thrill you with a passionate, mesmerizing and, in the truest sense of the word, progressive heavy rock sound - and the unique enrgy and dynamic only a band of brothers can evolve. Three brothers, one journey: Look forward to the SONS OF SOUNDS!
Good news for everyone about to set up his/her tent at our camping area #2: Despite any actual construction works, it's still possible without any restrictions!
The area at our disposal is reduced by approx. a quarter, yet we'll be able to compensate this by offering alternatives to our crew and certain groups who've camped at CP2 in the past. So, after all, the area usable for festival visitors will be the same as before.
Right now, we're working on making camping at the Metalcamp more comfortable, too. Watch this space for further details to follow!
Next big band news - presumably the last one regarding new confirmations, as our artist line up is complete now:
Guitar legend Michael Schenker will come to BANG YOUR HEAD!!! 2019 - along with the MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST. Look forward to the exceptional voices of Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet, Robin McAuley and Doogie White and tons of classics! It will be the only festival show in Germany of the MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST in 2019.

BYH!!! Warm Up Show
Traditionally, the festival kicks off with a full dose of metal one evening prior to the main event: our traditional BYH!!! warm up show taking place at the fairground hall right at the festival venue. Tickets for the warm up show as well as for the festival may be purchased at doors or at our online shop. There's a special price policy for visitors buying/owning a festival ticket, too.
